Stock up on energy when you are planning to bike this leg! Here you can bike over Söderåsen National Park and Skåne's highest point.
The proximity to Söderåsen National Park is of great importance for tourism in Röstånga, which facilitates good service to both local residents and visitors. On the southern slope of Söderåsen, a few kilometers east of Kågeröd, adjacent to beautiful oak groves, is Knutstorps Borg, where the world-famous astronomer Tycho Brahe was born in the middle of the 16th century. A visit here will surely guarantee a sense of the wings of history and perhaps also a visit to the shop. On the grounds are also home to the famous racetrack Ring Knutstorp, which has several major events every year.
Remember to stock up a lot of energy prior to setting off on this leg, because you will most likely feel it in your legs that you are biking over Söderåsen, this primeval mountain ridge which contains Skåne's highest point at 212 meters above sea level. Take as many stops as you need and enjoy deep valleys, impressive precipices, lush deciduous forests and perhaps a fortifying coffee.
The bike journey continues on with breath-taking speed and the reward comes when you speed down the north slope of Söderåsen while the landscape opens up. Now you have earned yourself a piece of eel, salmon or shellfish at the smokehouse located along the trail.
Having reached Klippan, there are some good train connections, grocery stores, restaurants and bicycle service.
Along Sub trail 102 there are train stations in the following locations: Ystad, Höör, Kågeröd, Klippan, Förslöv and Båstad.
